🎃 Monster Master — Stage 1 is live!
An original Halloween 3D game by ARTEL3D - free, in your browser, on desktop, phone and tablet.

The story
Varembourg, 1920s. Élias Vauclair cleans the sewers beneath a town poisoned by the Viridis dye factory. One night he falls into *la Verdeuse*, its green acid — and comes back as something else. All he kept from his old life is a brass locket: the portrait of his daughter, Lise.
Every Halloween, the children tell the story of the thing beneath the streets. They are wrong about one detail. It is not a monster. It is a father.
**Five puzzles, one way out**
🐀 The Rat and the Key ·
🧪 The Verdeuse ·
🚰 The Valve ·
⚡ The Fuse ·
🗝️ The Gate
Every key moment plays as a real-time cinematic, staged like a film — from the manhole down the shaft, through the gate, above the toxic canal… and back up to the daylight.
**Background**
A dark fairy tale, tender rather than gory. A painted storybook world: warm gold for the surface, the past and Lise — sickly green for the sewers and the monster. The story goes on in the end credits, all the way to the Viridis factory. Viridis must pay.
**Behind the scenes**
From structure, to form, to the final frame — a glimpse of the construction of the sewers and of the Master. As for *how* it was made… that stays a studio secret. 🗝️
🎵 Music: *Beneath Varembourg* by Artel Pop Corn
