Tri-hybrid architecture
I had been wondering whether convolution layers between full attention, and either sliding or linear attention, would make an efficient architecture!
Do you have any thoughts of expanding this specific model, or any comments about duplicating these cells of conv-sliding-conv-full layers to add capacity?
Thanks, glad the architecture lines up with what you'd been thinking about!
On expanding: yes, we have more LFM3 models planned, so stay tuned.
On duplicating the conv-sliding-conv-full cells: I think depth scaling of this type or architecture sure work similar to depth scaling of other architectures. If you try it, we'd love to hear how it goes!
